Description
Application:
Universal, oblique cable inlet, WUKS type is intended for introducing cables and wires with a circular cross-section into the interior of group I flameproof electrical equipment.
Depending on the version (WUKS version 0-6), the inlets enable the insertion of cables and wires with a diameter of 34mm to 69mm.
The inlets are made as steel and welded structures. The sealing of the cable or cable in the inlet is achieved by means of a suitable rubber gasket.

The main elements of WUKS inlets are:
- body with internal seat for sealing ring,
- fastening cap,
- clamping cone,
- compression nut,
- elastomer sealing ring,
- metal washers (2 pcs.),
- base cover (optional).
In addition, in the lower part of the body, there are two sockets for WPg-1 inlets, which are normally closed with metal plugs.
If no wire or cable is introduced into the inlet, a suitable metal plug is provided for installation. The inlet is attached to the device with three M16 bolts. There is a flameproof cylindrical-flange joint between the inlet body and the flameproof casing.

Central Mining Institute, Notified Body No. 1453 in accordance with Article 9 of Directive 94/9 / EC of 23 March 1994, confirms that the part or subassembly being the subject of this certificate meets the essential health and safety requirements for the design and construction of protective equipment and systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres listed in Annex 2 to Directive 94/9 / EC (Chapter 2 of the Ordinance of the Minister of Economy of December 22, 2005, Journal of Laws No. 263, item 2203)
