Air conditioning and heating device UKD-1.5C
The UKD 1.5C air conditioning and heating device is intended for heating rooms in the underground of mines, such as pit, repair chambers, storage chambers, whistleblower service chambers and main drainage pumping stations, as well as drying sand needed for transport underground.
UKD 1.5C air-conditioning and heating device is made in the form of a flameproof cylinder equipped with external ribs to increase the heat dissipation area. The interior of the chamber with 3×500 W heating elements is filled with quartz sand.
The device is powered by a 3x220V flameproof box from a transformer unit, e.g. type OZTK, OZTM, OZTU, ZT-045, ZT-145 by APATOR MINING and ZT-2, ZT-4, ZT-6, ZT-2×2, ZT- 2×3 by INVERTIM or another type of transformer unit. The device is switched on / off manually by a button on the flameproof transformer unit.

UKD-1.5C air conditioning and heating devices are made of St3S steel in the form of a flameproof cylinder equipped with external ribs to increase the heat dissipation area. The interior of the chamber with 3 x 500 W heating elements is filled with quartz sand.
Insulation distances are made in accordance with the PN-EN 50019: 2005 standard.
The device is powered by a 3x230V flameproof box from a transformer unit, e.g. type OZTK, OZTM, OZTU, ZT-045, ZT-145 by APATOR MINING and ZT -2, ZT-4, ZT-6, ZT-2×2, ZT-2×3 from INVERTIM or other type of transformer unit. The device is switched on / off manually by a button on the flameproof transformer unit.
The device has an internal temperature control realized by three bimetallic thermostats with the activation temperature of 70 ° C included in the power supply circuits of the device.
The device is additionally equipped with a temperature sensor with a activation temperature of 75 ° C. It is a device protection in case of failure of bimetallic thermostats against heating the device housing to an inadmissible temperature of 120 ° C. This sensor is included in the control circuits of the transformer set. Activation of the temperature sensor will turn off the power to the device. It is not possible to switch the air conditioning and heating device on again after it has cooled down.
The air-conditioning and heating device type UKD-1.5C has the EC type examination certificate: KDB 06ATEX204X / 2 of 13.06.2011 as a supplement to the WE type examination certificate: KDB 06ATEX204X of 20.07.2006.
The UKD-1.5C air-conditioning and heating device meets the essential health and safety requirements for the design and construction of equipment and protective systems intended for use in a potentially explosive atmosphere, listed in Annex II of Directive 2014/34 / EU (Regulation of the Minister of Development of 06.06.2016 .).
