Bisnode Polska, in cooperation with the Forbes monthly, has selected the winners of the “2018 Family Business Ranking”. The process was carried out in several stages.
In the first one, out of over 3.5 million companies, Bisnode Polska, on the basis of data from the National Court Register, selected companies in which at least two shareholders have family ties, and in which 50 + 1 percent remain. shares.
In the second phase, using the know-how, companies were selected with a minimal – in the opinion of the organizers – risk of cooperation. Moreover, in the last three financial years, they showed positive dynamics of sales and profit, had a positive financial result, fulfilled the obligation to publish financial data on time or sent their results directly to Bisnode Polska.
In addition, they are valued in the business environment and have an unblemished reputation. Against them, no negative legal events, understood as bankruptcy or liquidation petitions, were recorded in commercial courts. As a result, we received the Family Business Ranking.
The enterprises have been divided into two groups according to the revenues for the last financial year. The first, small and medium-sized enterprises, are those which in 2016 in the financial statements showed an annual income not exceeding PLN 100 million. The second group includes corporations and enterprises with annual revenues in excess of PLN 100 million.
