On July 28, 2005, the American Goldman Sachs Investment Fund purchased a part of the PIRELLI company, which manufactures cables and wires.

Application:
The cable is intended for use in underground workings of mining plants; main application as a cable for powering longwall shearers (in the stacker) and other power equipment. The use of a general-control screen in the cable, located between the inner sheath and the outer tire, enables the control of the insulation resistance between the control element and the protective element (earth).

Application:
The cable is intended for use in underground workings of mining plants, wherever it is required to supply a flexible rubber tire with a rated voltage of 3.6 / 6 kV. It can be used as a supply cable for equipment installed on face faces (e.g. drives of face conveyors and crushers). It is suitable for use as a garland-shaped suspension cable, supplying mobile transformer stations. The use of a general-control screen in the cable, located between the inner sheath and the outer tire, enables the control of the insulation resistance between the control element and the protective element (earth). Number of control wires: 3 or 6.

The cable is intended for use in underground workings of mining plants, wherever it is required to supply a flexible, rubber-sheathed cable with a rubber sheath and rated voltage of 3.6 / 6 kV. It can be used as a power supply cable for equipment installed in face (e.g. face conveyor and crusher drives). Suitable for use as a garland-shaped suspension cord. The cable is not suitable for powering combines.
